Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 17, 2026
Introduction
Birdie ("the App") is developed by Pragmatiq ("we", "us", or "our"). We take your privacy seriously — so seriously that we designed Birdie to have no ability to collect your data in the first place. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it's stored, and what we don't do.
Data You Enter
Birdie allows you to enter the following information while using the App:
- Course names (optional, user-provided text)
- Player names (user-provided text)
- Golf scores (strokes per hole)
- Number of holes played
This data is entered entirely by you and exists solely on your device. We never see it, collect it, or transmit it to any server.
Local Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your round history, scores, and settings are saved to your device's local storage. If you delete the App, this locally stored data is removed.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Birdie uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your round data across your Apple devices. This sync is:
- Controlled entirely by Apple's iCloud infrastructure
- Protected by your Apple ID and Apple's encryption
- Subject to Apple's own Privacy Policy
- Manageable through your device's iCloud settings
We have no access to your iCloud data. We cannot read, modify, or delete your synced information.
No Third-Party Services
Birdie contains zero third-party SDKs, frameworks, or services. We do not integrate with:
- Analytics platforms (no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Crash reporting services
- Advertising networks
- Social media SDKs
- Any external APIs or servers
No Analytics or Tracking
We do not track your usage of the App. We do not know how often you open Birdie, how many rounds you play, what features you use, or anything else about your behavior. We have no analytics dashboard because there is nothing to analyze.
No Advertising
Birdie contains no advertisements and never will. We do not collect any data for advertising purposes, and we do not share any information with advertisers.
Children's Privacy
Birdie does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we collect no data, there is no risk of unauthorized collection of children's information.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Since we collect no data, we do not anticipate material changes to this policy.
